Term Time Plumbing Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Assistant to join our team. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a salary of £26,000. 

The HR Assistant role: 

Located near London Bridge, we are looking to recruit an experienced HR Assistant to join the busy HR Care and Support Team. The successful applicant will be the primary point of contact for the South Region of the business (including Southampton and Portsmouth) providing professional advice and support on a range of HR issues, including basic employment legislation, employee relations, policy and procedures, payroll and absence management. 

Responsibilities of the HR Assistant: 

- Take an active role in ensuring monthly pay claims meet payroll deadlines 

- Assist the ongoing recruitment of care and support staff in a proactive, creative and positive way 

- Acting as HR support on interview panels, where required 

- Keeping statistics on all incoming applications 

- Provide a timely and professional on boarding service; including DBS checks, obtaining references (as per CQC regulations) and booking induction 

- Ensuring that candidates are kept well informed about their progress through the recruitment process
